After serving in the United States Navy during Operation Iraqi Freedom, Max continued to serve as a civilian in the Army.  Protecting the civilians who are dedicated to developing and sustaining battleground equipment for the warfighter has been Max’s focus as an Army civilian firefighter and safety manager for 15 years. Becoming a JDog member is an exciting opportunity to “shift mission” and positively impact the lives of Veterans and their families in Max’s community.  

Max is blessed with his wife, Jennifer, of 20 years and two children who are also excited to be members of the JDog family.  As active members of our community including volunteering regularly at our Clarkston Community Church, organizing Angel Tree Christmas gift donation programs, Mom-2-Mom sales, assisting in natural disaster relief efforts with Disaster Relief at Work, and coaching local youth softball and volleyball teams, Max and Jennifer are heavily invested in ensuring our community remains a great place to raise a family, enjoy the outdoors and be an inviting location for diverse populations and businesses.  To that end, we pledge to prevent at least 60-80% of what we haul from going to landfills through recycling, donating, and otherwise repurposing usable goods.
